1- There hasn’t been a plane thriller for a while now. The genre had its heyday in the late 90s with Passenger 57, Executive Decision, Con Air, Air Force One, Turbulence and finally had a small revival with Red Eye, Flightplan and Snakes on a Plane. If you enjoyed those, don’t get your hopes up. This is bottom of the barrel junk, murkily lit to hide the budget limitations, badly paced and with plot holes big enough to fly a 747 through.

2- I was expecting the same thing from this Seagal movie (after all, when was the last time this guy had something that did not premiere on Netflix?), but as soon as the movie open with a stupid narration about Seagal being a bad man who does bad things and he’s looking to redeem himself with one good deed, I knew this was not that movie.
